  • Griffin Club places the safety and wellbeing of students as our highest priority. We have regular contact with the same group of children, which puts our staff in the unique position of being able to spot and respond quickly to safeguarding concerns. We operate Safer Recruitment Guidelines as set out in “Keeping Children Safe in Education” and we see safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility, including staff, students, parents, volunteers and other members of the community.

Our safeguarding and other policies and procedures can be viewed by clicking this link here.

  • If you are worried about a child’s safety or welfare you must share your concerns with a member of our safeguarding team. If you can, you should make a factual record of your concern which includes the day, date and time, any other witnesses and the details of the concern.
